We had a great experience working with Frank and the Northkit team! From the moment we reached out for a quote, the team was fast, efficient, and very professional. They moved fast while still informing us of all our options and thoroughly answering any questions that we had. On the day of, the team came on time as discussed, did an amazing job on our roof, and even extended their clean up to our surrounding neighbors to ensure cleanliness. Our project manager Frank was readily available leading up to and throughout the job and it instilled confidence that he stayed with the team from start to finish monitoring their work and ensuring that every detail was correct. Just want to throw a quick shout out to Northkit Roofing. We just purchased a fixer-upper house in Morristown a few months ago and the siding desperately needed to be redone…it was rotted, falling apart, not energy efficient, etc. Northkit came to the rescue and installed our new composite siding and we absolutely love it. We loved working with the Northkit team. They were very responsive throughout the entire process.
I had 2 old skylights and a couple of leaks that patches were not remedying. My roof looks amazing with the new black shingles and the job took a day to complete and they cleaned up so well that you can't even tell they were ever here. I called around to a few places for estimates to replace my roof. One company was way way way overpriced and was clearly trying to take advantage. The second was priced in line but lacked good financing options and I had to call them to send the estimate and then call again to ask about Financing. In that mix was Northkit, #3.......I left my info for a consult on their site, received a preliminary call and some texts that morning to set up a consult with Vaughn the next day. Vaughn came over early, took a bunch of pictures and then had a 3D rendering to show us with a quote that was inline with another contractor. Additionally, they had good financing options and the ability to do the job in 1 day and schedule said job quickly. The Day of the Job, Frank was on site abt 6 different times. He was on the roof, walking the property and asking questions to make sure we were satisfied with the work as it progressed. They were there at 7 with a dumpster, ripping shingles off by 730 and off the property by 530 after running a magnet over the property to ensure no nails were left. I counted close to 10 people actively working and cleaning up as they progressed. My skylights look great!
If you are looking for a company to do your roof, windows, and/or siding then look no further. From start to finish Northkit was amazing to work with. They were the last company we met with prior to choosing someone to do the job and the saying "we saved the best for last" rang true. Bryant sat down with me and my fiance and went through the process step by step with a powerpoint on his ipad which made it super easy to envision what the phases of the project would look like. As someone who is a first time homeowner and knows next to nothing about construction related matters, this was VERY much appreciated. It also unintentionally highlighted some other companies shortcomings when it came to quality of product, integrity of installation, and general attention to detail. A project manager was on site each day of the project and was readily available to answer any questions as well as manage any challenges that popped up. For example-The window manufacturer sent the wrong type of window and this issue was taken care of immediately, no questions asked. I have heard horror stories from other people about companies being inflexible and unwilling to take responsibility for things once payment was received but this couldn't have been further from the truth with Northkit. Chuck was amazing and worked closely with us throughout the project. Vaughn was approachable and honest, which is hard to find from a business owner these days. Kris was kind and thoughtful and paid attention to detail. All of the people who worked on the project were incredibly hard working and completely transformed our house. They were also diligent about tidying up and making sure the yard was safe for our two dogs to be in after they were finished working for the day. We live in a small community and received tons of compliments on the work Northkit did. Best of all, they offered the most competitive financing options out of anyone we met with. I HIGHLY recommend them for your roofing or siding needs.
NorthKit Roofing is reliable, dependable, impressive, and courteous. They were quick to respond to my call. The project manager, Frank, was easy to work with and always took the time to answer any questions and gave me constant updates – before, during, and after the insulation of our roof. Northkit also provides financing. We highly recommend them.
