Junior Garcia and his team of skilled craftsmen did an incredible transformation on our home this past fall. We started with Junior’s design expert, Diane who came to our home and went over several design options with us, previously my wife and I have never done a complete exterior renovation so this was all new to us but Diane walked us through all the different materials, colors and design options and helped us design the home of our dreams! New GAF roof, all new Andersen 400 black windows, complete Hardie board and batten and lap siding, new black 6” gutters with tubular leaders and topped it off with custom white stonework!! We could not be happier!!! My wife and I received several estimates from other reputable contractors and Carpenters Touch was right in the middle price-wise. Junior was on sight everyday and made us feel at ease through the entire process, many of Junior’s craftsmen/carpenters have been with him 10-15 years and it shows in the pride they take in their work. They showed up just about every day and the entire process only took about six weeks, all of our neighbors have expressed how beautiful our home turned out and have asked for Junior’s contact for their own future projects. In a nutshell I would recommend Carpenters Touch in a heartbeat for any home improvement!
My husband and I started discussing this siding project with Carpenters Touch over a year ago. They stuck with us until we were ready and were more than accommodating with pricing. We ended up adding a porch that they beautiful finished in cedar and pine. Their workers were respectful and responsive whenever we changed our minds or wanted to add something else. Junior is still in contact post reno and was always quick to come and fix anything we needed. Our home looks absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!
Carpenter's Touch was a pleasure to work with. Luke, was very knowledgeable with all the questions we had asked. We had roof, Hardie siding, gutters done and added a portico. Junoir, Frankie and his crew were on top of things. They made sure everything got done. Our house looks amazing! I would definitely use them again. We highly recommend them!

From the representative for sales, Luke Leon, to the owner, Heriberto Garcia "Junior", who is a true expert in all things construction and a savvy and thorough overseer who engages in the project, to the hard working, professional, dedicated and detail-oriented crew led by the meticulous foreman Luis, to the finishing touches and quality assurance, this team surpasses any other contractor I have worked with in the past. Their team turned my outdated house exterior siding and my crumbling pergola into the modern home I envisioned and my pergola is now a beautiful place to relax with family and friends. There was no detail overlooked and they welcomed any questions, concerns and ideas I had during the project. Always receptive and courteous. I also loved that the estimate didn’t take a half day (who has the time?!) and there was no pressure at the end to sign. They listened to all my ideas. Made them all happen. Didn’t charge me more than expected. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.
I was surprised to leaned that my roof needed repair due to water damaged two weeks ago right after the severe storm. Junior and Diane came to my house for an estimate within one hour after our phone conversation. Due to mold concerned on our attic that may affect our health, we decided to replace entire roof including new shingles, new plywood, and new insulation on our roof and attic. For better ventilation, Junior also recommends adding soffit vent on both sides of the roof to eliminate mold issue. Junior sent a team to cover my damaged roof right before the rain the day I singed the contract. On first day of job, Junior sent his best team to my house and finished the majority of the work within two days. There was a surprised rain at the end of first day job. Junior and his team returned to my house and covered entire roof right before the rain. I was touched by how Junior and his team care about their work and also treat the customer’s property as their own. Due to rain concern on the scheduled second working day, Junior decided to move up the schedule and ask his team to work on the Ester Sunday to avoid three consecutive rainy day forecast that may potentially damaged my unfinished roof. On second day afternoon, Junior discovered the rear side of my existing main roof rafter were not line up properly and some were rotted. Without a doubt, immediately I agreed to replace all related rafters. I was amazed how quickly the team worked together to bring in new materials and correct the issue. Even our township inspector mentioned quoted as saying “This is a real solid work!” We used to see window sweat every morning, for the first time in years no more window sweat the day after the new roof was finished. I also wanted to thanks to our project manager Walter, who make sure all materials available and the work were done correctly during entire time. Did I mentioned that the dumpster arrived a day prior the work started and pickup a day after the work finished. The crew also use a magnetic roller to pickup most of the nails as they could and they went through my yard and driveway twice. This by far the best trained and the most coordinated contractor that I ever worked with. I would highly recommend hiring The Carpenters Touch at Livingston when you have any roof issue. They do care and they stand behind their work.
